Strawberry Shortcake
This strawberry shortcake is only 3 points per serving!
The only problem is it’s so good you might want more than one.
To make this recipe I used Bisquick Heart Smart. I have used it for other recipes like Chicken and Dumplings, Cheeseburger Pie, Biscuits and Gravy and Taco Pie.
It’s an easy way to lighten up a recipe, but it still tastes great!

I love any kind of strawberry dessert. One of my favorites is this Strawberry Crisp. The bonus is it’s only 2 points.
The Ingredients
Bisquick Heart Smart: This is a healthier version of Bisquick. It’s low in fat, low in saturated fat, and naturally cholesterol free.
It also contains more calcium and iron than regular Bisquick.
Skim Milk: I used skim milk instead of regular milk because it’s lower in points.
Unsweetened Applesauce: Using applesauce replaces the butter. It also helps to save points since it’s 0 points.
Granulated Splenda: I used Splenda instead of sugar. You can use your sweetener of choice; Splenda is a 1 : 1 ratio with sugar.
Strawberries: You can’t have strawberry shortcake without strawberries!
Fat-free Reddi Wip: You can have 4 tablespoons for 0 points.

How to Make Strawberry Shortcake
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
Add the Bisquick Heart Smart, skim milk, unsweetened applesauce, and Splenda to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
Add parchment paper to a baking sheet. Add 8 spoonfuls of dough to the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting in half.
While the shortcake was baking, I cut up the strawberries.
To assemble, add some whipped cream to the bottom of the shortcake, then add some chopped strawberries, followed by more whipped cream. Add the top of the shortcake and enjoy!

I entered this into the recipe builder for WW. I came up with 4 points on the purple plan. Your pinterest page claims it is 3 points on purple. Am I missing something?
I’m not sure what was put in your recipe builder but mine said:
1 3/4 cups Bisquick Heart Smart = 23 points
1/2 cup fat free skim milk = 2 points
2 T Unsweetened applesauce = 0 points
Strawberries = 0 points
You can have 4 tablespoons of fat free Reddi Wip for 0 points. You don’t need more than that for one strawberry shortcake.
Total points = 25. 8 servings = 3 points for blue, green and purple.
Will it work with almond milk?
I’m not sure, I haven’t tried.
Excellent..was able to indulge and stay on track! FYI fairlife milk is zero for 1/4 cup..I made half a recipe!
That’s great!
