Pumpkin Pie Twists
It’s that time of year again – pumpkin stuff is everywhere!
You’re not going to want to pass up these Pumpkin Pie Twists.
These twists are a low point dessert that are filled with the flavor of pumpkin pie.

The Ingredients
Pizza Dough: I bought a tube of Pillsbury pie crust. The whole thing is 34 points. This is where the majority of the points come from.
Canned Pumpkin: You can’t have pumpkin pie without the pumpkin. I bought a can of pumpkin puree which is 0 points.
Splenda: I used granulated Splenda instead of sugar to save points. You can use your sweetener of choice.
Splenda and sugar are a 1:1 ratio. Whichever sweetener you use should be equivalent to 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Pumpkin Pie Spice: This is the spice most commonly used in pumpkin pie. It’s a mixture of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves.
Cinnamon: I used an extra pinch of cinnamon for more flavor.
Vanilla Extract: This is commonly used in baking to enhance other flavors in the recipe.
Powdered Sugar: I topped the Pumpkin Pie Twists with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar. It adds a little bit of sweetness and makes them look even tastier.

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Twists
Start by adding the pumpkin puree, Splenda, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to a bowl.
Stir to combine all of the ingredients and set aside.
Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface. Make sure the dough is stretched out. Cut the dough in half lengthwise. You should have two rectangle shapes.
Spread the pumpkin mixture over one half of the pizza dough. It’s ok if there is some pumpkin leftover.
Place the second dough on top of the first one making sure the edges are lined up.
Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 12 strips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Transfer the strips to the baking sheet. Pick up one end of the strip and twist it two times. Pick up the other end and twist it two times.
Make sure to leave space between each of the twists because the bread will expand. Bake for 10 minutes or until the dough is cooked through.
Let the pumpkin pie twists cool slightly before adding the powdered sugar.
