Ham and Pickle Pinwheels
These pinwheels are for all of the pickle lovers out there!
They’re perfect for an appetizer, snack, or light lunch.

They remind me of the ham roll-ups I used to make. It was a slice of deli ham smothered with cream cheese and green onions, rolled up and cut into bite-size pieces. They were so good!
The Ingredients
Tortillas: I used Mission Carb Balance flour tortillas. They taste just like regular tortillas and they’re only 2 points each.
Cream Cheese: To keep it low in points I used reduced-fat cream cheese.
Ham: I used black forest deli ham. You want to choose a ham that is lower in points.
Pickles: Any type of dill pickle will work. It gets chopped up so it doesn’t matter if it’s spears or whole pickles.
Seasonings: I used garlic powder and onion powder to add a boost of flavor.

How to Make Ham and Pickle Pinwheels
You want to make sure the cream cheese is room temperature. If it’s cold it will be too hard to stir the ingredients together.
Chop the pickles and ham. You need 1/3 cup of each.
In a medium mixing bowl add the reduced fat cream cheese, ham, pickles, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Stir all of the ingredients together.
Lay out one of the tortillas and add half of the cream cheese mixture. Spread it across the tortilla leaving a 1/2 inch border around the tortilla.
Roll up the tortilla in plastic wrap.
Repeat all of the steps with the remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate both tortillas for 30 minutes. This will make it easier to cut them.
Cut off the ends of the tortillas and cut each one into six pieces. You will get 12 pinwheels.
This recipe can easily be doubled if you are feeding a larger crowd.
