Pepperoni Pizza Chicken

This is an easy meal that the whole family will love!

Not only is it delicious but it’s also Weight Watchers friendly. It’s also low carb (if you serve it without the noodles).

Coming in at only 3 points per serving, you can eat it as is or serve it with pasta.

The Ingredients

Chicken Breast: I used boneless skinless chicken breast since it’s 0 points. It’s a lean poultry that’s packed full of nutrients.

Pizza Sauce: I just bought store bought pizza sauce. You could also use a low point spaghetti sauce but I think the pizza sauce really adds to the pizza flavor.

Cheese: To keep it low in points I used part skim mozzarella cheese. It’s lower in points but it still melts good.

Turkey Pepperoni: If you haven’t tried turkey pepperoni you’re missing out. It tastes just like regular pepperoni but it’s much lower in points.

Seasonings: I seasoned my chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Chicken

I love this recipe because there’s no prep work. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

Place the chicken in the baking dish. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Top each chicken breast with the pizza sauce then sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese.

Add three turkey pepperoni to each chicken breast.

Bake at 425 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Serving Suggestions

I served my Pepperoni Pizza Chicken with 1/2 cup of angel hair pasta. It was 3 points for the pasta and 3 points for the chicken making it a 6 point meal.

Top the chicken with some of your favorite pizza toppings. Green peppers, onions, basil, spinach, and mushrooms are all good 0 point options.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place the chicken breast in the baking dish. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the pizza sauce over the chicken breasts and sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese.
  • Add three turkey pepperoni to each chicken breast.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken breast reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
