Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin on chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry on both sides.
  • In a small bowl mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and dry mustard.
  • Season the bottom of the chicken thighs then add them to a baking dish skin side up. Season the top of the chicken thigh then spray with olive oil spray. Rub the seasoning into the skin and under the skin.
  • Bake the chicken thighs for 30-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. During the last 5 minutes switch to broil so the skin gets crispy. Keep an eye on it so that it doesn't burn.
