Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 96% lean ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Kinder's Organic The Blend seasoning
  • 1 cup orzo
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 splashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat Mexican cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Heat the skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onions, cook until the beef is browned and the onions are soft and translucent (5-7 minutes). Remove any excess grease.
  • Add the Kinder's, beef broth, orzo, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together, ensuring the orzo is evenly distributed.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cover the skillet. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cheese and stir until it is melted. Your cheeseburger orzo is ready to serve.
