The Ingredients
Chicken Breast: A lean source of protein that keeps you full and energized without extra calories.
Chicken Broth: Adds moisture and flavor without heavy calories.
Sugar-free BBQ Sauce: Most BBQ sauces are loaded with sugar. Using a sugar-free version cuts down on added sugars, which helps with blood sugar control, calories, and keeps it low in carbs.
Garlic Powder: Adds more flavor without extra calories or carbs.
Mission Carb Balance Flour Tortillas: Lower in carbs but still soft and delicious, making them perfect for Weight Watchers and low carb lifestyles.
Lettuce: Very low in calories, high in water content, gives volume, plus vitamins (A, K) and minerals.
Red Onion: Onions contribute antioxidants, plus flavor. Raw or lightly cooked, they bring taste without needing added fat.
Reduced-fat Mexican Cheese: Instead of full fat cheese, reduced-fat still gives you the dairy benefits (protein, calcium, flavor) with less saturated fat.

How to Make BBQ Chicken Wraps
Whether you cook the chicken in the slow cooker or Instant Pot you cook it in 1 cup of chicken broth.
Add the chicken to the bottom of the slow cooker or Instant Pot. Pour in the chicken broth, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
For the slow cooker you can cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
If you’re using the Instant Pot you want to lock the lid and set the lever to seal. Press the manual button and set the time for 8 minutes. Let the pressure release manually for 5 minutes, then release the pressure.
When the chicken is done cooking you take it out of the chicken broth and shred it, then add sugar-free BBQ sauce.
I mixed 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce with the shredded chicken. Then it was time to assemble my wrap.
Place the tortilla on a flat surface followed by the lettuce, BBQ chicken, red onions and reduced-fat cheese. Feel free to drizzle a little extra BBQ sauce on it too!
Each wrap had 1/4 cup of the BBQ chicken on it. It was enough for 8 wraps. It’s a perfect meal for leftovers or even meal prep.
