Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Wash the sweet potatoes. You can peel them or leave the skin on, whichever you prefer.
  • Slice the sweet potatoes into quarter-inch thick slices. Make sure the fries are cut the same size to ensure even cooking.
  • Add the sweet potato fries to a bowl. Spray with cooking spray and season with salt. Use tongs to evenly coat the fries.
  • Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding the basket. If you have a large amount of fries you can cook them in more than one batch.
  • Cook the fries at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  • While the fries are cooking you can prepare the cinnamon dip. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar-free maple syrup, and cinnamon.
  • Once all the ingredients are combined, transfer the dip to a serving bowl. If you prefer a slightly thinner consistency, add a small amount of unsweetened almond milk or water.
