Red White and Blue Fruit Salad

This fruit salad is perfect for the Fourth of July!

The colors make it very festive, plus it’s easy to make.

The Ingredients

Strawberries: I used 1 lb. of strawberries. I cleaned them, cut the tops off and cut each strawberry into four pieces.

Blueberries: I bought 1 pint of blueberries. I rinsed and dried them before adding to the salad.

Apple: I used a honeycrisp apple because it’s my favorite. You can use any type of apple.

Lemon: This was used to keep the apples from turning brown. I mixed 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with 1 cup of water and soaked the apples 3-5 minutes.

Mini marshmallows: The marshmallows added a nice bright white color.

Fat free whipped cream: I topped each serving with some whipped cream. You can have 3 tablespoons for 0 points.
