Ingredients

  • 1 Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 6 slices Sargento light string cheese
  • 1 egg (whisked with 1 tablespoon water)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each piece of string cheese into 4 pieces. You should have 24 pieces of cheese.
  • Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 24 pieces.
  • Put one piece of cheese into the center of a piece of dough then seal it and roll it into a ball. Make sure the dough is completely sealed so the cheese doesn't come out.
  • Add the ball to the baking sheet. Start with one ball at the top and form a Christmas tree.
  • Brush the egg wash onto the balls then add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  • Bake 12-14 minutes or until the dough is golden.
